England, 1940. The world's last copy of the Middlebury camellia grows on the territory of a country estate. On the eve of World War II, American Flora makes a deal with a thief. Her task is to penetrate the estate and find the camellia. The path to this goal turns out to be full at the same time of joy and fear... New York, present day. Addison, who works as a landscape designer, comes to the same estate with her husband Rex. The house is now owned by Rex's parents. He, like his wife, adores detective stories, so the couple, finding in an old house, an album of dried camellia flowers, decides to investigate.
